Even though the décor is dated, the room was clean and cozy. The motor lodge vibe is charming. I loved the easy parking and the convenience of exploring nearby attractions after a long drive.

I loved the cozy motor lodge vibe, and the easy parking was a major plus. The room was clean and well-kept. Exploring nearby attractions was convenient too.

A few more grab bars in the bathroom would help.

We relished the amazing proximity to the Historic Tehachapi Depot, only a few steps away, and loved that we could easily wander to the Tehachapi Museum, just a short walk down the road, making our weekend exploration so enjoyable and convenient.

convenient location

It was just an excellent fit for a weekend stopover with good value. The bathroom had towels ready, although they were stained. Bring earplugs for the trains that pass by every 15-30 minutes.

After a long drive, we were welcomed with such warmth and comfort. The outdoor pool was a fantastic spot to unwind under the sun, and the cozy lounge area was perfect. Though the room could've been cleaner, it didn't take away from our overall pleasant experience. Just a tip, bring earplugs for the train horns at night 😊

The clean room and friendly service, even if the decor felt a bit outdated. The noise from the trains could be disruptive, especially for light sleepers, but that didn’t bother me. The nearby bakery is a great bonus!
